Hello! Welcome to my website. I am Lori Hurd and I love to scrapbook, craft
and make cards. This is where the Red Rooster Scrapbook Barn got its name. I
live in this wonderful restored 100 year-old barn nestled in a beautiful small
mountain valley town in Mantua, Utah. Mantua is located in the Sardine Canyon
between Brigham City and Logan. The other old building above is my scrapbook
workshop and is located in the back yard of my barn. I recently fixed it up,
painted and decorated it. I have family antiques inside and also keep my
scrapbooking supplies in it. Everyone is welcome to come see my barn house and
my scrapbook workshop!
I started the Red Rooster Scrapbook Barn in October 2008 so that I could
share my fun and creativity with others. I first started having day scrapbook
retreats in my barn and now I have two and three day scrapbook retreats in
Logan at the Crystal Inn Suites Hotel, Girl's Home in Mantua (Brigham City), the
Red Moose Lodge in Eden (Ogden Valley) and the Comfort Suites in Ogden.
I am married to a wonderful supportive husband who always asks me "How
many pages I got done?" whenever I get home from a retreat. He enjoys sitting
down with me and looking through them. I also have three great teenage
children. My friends and I enjoy going on overnight retreats a few times a year.
